The Vetpal

Game Plan.

How we play,
together.

Great teams don’t win on talent alone. They win because everyone knows the plan — where to stand, when to move, and what we never compromise on. This is ours.

Kick off

Play 01

01 / 04

Patients first, always

Care over Convenience

Every decision we make ends up in a treatment room — with a vet, an owner and an animal that can’t tell us what’s wrong. That’s the game we’re in. When we’re unsure what to do, we pick the option that serves them best, even when it’s harder for us.

Fig. 01Every line runs to the same point.

On the pitch

  1. 01.a

We talk to vets every week, not every quarter.

  2. 01.b

We sweat the details that save a clinic minutes.

  3. 01.c

We never ship what we wouldn’t trust with our own pets.

Play 02

02 / 04

Every second counts

Tempo over Tidiness

Speed is a habit, not a sprint. The fastest teams aren’t the ones running hardest — they’re the ones who cut everything that doesn’t move the ball forward. We decide quickly, ship early and let the field tell us what works.

On the pitch

  1. 02.a

Small, frequent releases beat big reveals.

  2. 02.b

If it doesn’t matter, we delete it.

  3. 02.c

    Reversible decisions get made today.

Play 03

03 / 04

Own the ball

Ownership over Shared blame

When everyone is responsible, no one is. Every project, problem and customer has one captain — a single person who is accountable for the outcome and trusted to make the call. Captains ask for help freely; they never hand off the result.

On the pitch

  1. 03.a

Every initiative has one named owner.

  2. 03.b

    Owners decide. Everyone else advises.

  3. 03.c

We finish what we start — or close it out loud.

Play 04

04 / 04

Keep it simple

Simple over Clever

Complexity is the opponent that never gets tired. Simple products, simple processes and plain language are harder to create — which is exactly why they win. If a play can’t be explained on a whiteboard in a minute, it isn’t ready.

On the pitch

  1. 04.a

Plain words over jargon, in product and in Slack.

  2. 04.b

    Fewer features, done properly.

  3. 04.c

Every new process replaces an old one.
